HAROLD LÓPEZ-NUSSA TIMBA A LA AMERICANA

One of the brightest lights on Havana’s thriving jazz scene, Cuban pianist and composer Harold López-Nussa is a musician with astonishing gifts, combining dazzling technique and an abundance of soul. His tight-knit quartet plays with a relentless vivaciousness that "bridges generations and genres," according to Billboard.  He is touring in support of his Blue Note debut Timba a la Americana, inspired by his recent decision to leave his Cuban homeland and begin a new life in France. He'll be accompanied by a tight-knit band featuring harmonica virtuoso Grégoire Maret, Luques Curtis on bass, and Harold’s brother Ruy Adrián López-Nussa on drums.
