Young flamenco guitarist José del Tomate was born in Almería in the heart of a family of artists. His father, Tomatito, and his great-grandfather Miguel Fernández Cortés “El Tomate” have been his main inspiration, although he also recognizes strong influences from Sabicas, Paco de Lucía, and, particularly, his uncle “El Niño Miguel.”
We regret to inform you that the Tomate concert has been cancelled. Global Arts Live has decided to cancel all concerts through April 11 due to coronavirus (COVID-19) related concerns. The safety of our audiences and artists remains our top priority. For more information, click here.
This concert is part of the series Flamenco Eñe co-organized by Flamenco Festival USA and Fundación SGAE.
