CIMARRÓN

With a wild, powerful, and unbridled sound, Colombia’s Grammy-nominated Cimarrón plays powerful joropo music. Cimarrón’s energetic and infectious music features soulful singing, fiery foot-stomping dance, and pure instrumental virtuosity on four-stringed cuatro, guitar like bandola, harp, maracas, Afro-Peruvian cajón, Brazilian surdo, Afro-Colombian tambora, and indigenous Latin America whistles.
