A protégé of the great Cabo Verdean vocalist Cesária Évora, Fantcha has developed her own unique musical style that swings with African, Cuban, and Brazilian influences. A charismatic performer with a rich, sensuous voice, she sings romantic soulful mornas along with buoyant danceable coladeras.
