Colibri Travel Testimonials

“Sylvia is hands down the best tour organizer and guide imaginable, and she takes care of every detail while making it all seem easy and fun.Throughout the trip, we stayed in wonderful boutique hotels, ate great food, and learned so much about the country and local cultureSylvia is smart, generous, and caring, does her research, and always incorporates history and culture into her tours.” —Gail, Cambridge MA

“Sylvia made everything appear seamless. Her knowledge of Cuba is astounding. She’s unflappable . . . if plan A doesn’twork she has a plan B, C, and D and does it with a smile. What my wife and I experienced was eye opening, what Sylvia showed us, where she took us, what she taught us, made the trip more than we ever envisioned.”—Doug, Jamaica Plain MA

“The Cuban Jazz festival, now, and its 38th year, is a must-do bucket list trip with Colibri Tours. Don’t walk but run to book a spot as soon as you can. Normally we don’t do package tours. But Cuba is a tough place to travel in, and Sylvia knows Cuba like the back of her hand. We stayed in wonderful casas, went to excellent restaurants, saw the sights, went to beautiful beaches, toured art galleries, hiked in the mountains, and most importantly had the inside track on fantastic music. This included private performances that were arranged just for us, fabulous seats at the regular events, and late-night Jazz clubs where top performers were jamming after hours. It was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you, Sylvia, and Colibri!"—Josh and Martha, CA
